Which services this covers
All FormSorted services: Attendance Allowance (AA1), Disability Living Allowance for children (DLA1A), Personal Independence Payment new claims (PIP2) and PIP reviews (AR1).
Health information (special category data)
To write your answers we collect details about health, disability, care, supervision and mobility needs of the person the form is for. For child DLA this may include school or nursery support, development and behaviour. This is special category data under UK GDPR. We process it only with explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), given by ticking a consent box before the conversation starts.
Forms about someone else
If you're filling in for another adult, you confirm they agree, or that you're legally able to act for them (for example as their DWP appointee or under a lasting power of attorney).
Children's information
Child DLA forms are completed by a parent or by someone who looks after the child as a parent (for example a guardian, grandparent or foster carer), or by an appointee. That person gives consent on the child's behalf and confirms they are entitled to claim for the child. We collect only what's needed for the form, we never contact the child, and we don't use children's data for marketing or profiling. Older children may also be asked whether they're happy for the information to be shared.
What we never fill in
We never ask for or enter National Insurance numbers, bank details or signatures. You add those yourself.
You can withdraw consent and delete your chat and answers at any time from your account or by emailing us. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train software models.
What else we collect
- Email address (sign-up, receipts)
- Payment details, handled by our payment provider. We never see your card number.
Who processes it
Trusted service providers who work for us under contract: our website host, our payment provider, our email provider, and a provider that processes your answers to draft your form (under terms that stop it keeping your data or using it for training). You can ask us for the names of these providers at any time. Data is stored in the UK/EEA or under UK adequacy/IDTA safeguards.
How long we keep it
Chat and answers: deleted 90 days after purchase unless you delete them sooner. Payment records: 6 years (tax law).
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
